    Default Snorkeler drowned near Karpata

The Rescue and Coordination Centre of the Coastguard Caribbean Region received a report from Bonaire about half-past six on Thursday afternoon that a snorkeler was missing at the height of Sabadeco.
She had started snorkelling with her husband and wasn't seen anymore.
The coastguard helicopter and the patrol aircraft were used to search. Because of falling darkness, the search had to be stopped around eight o' clock. A buoy was left at the place in the sea where the snorkeler star was last seen. This was continued the next morning and then the body of the snorkeler was found near farmhouse Karpata. She showed no signs of life. Her body has been transferred to Kralendijk.
