Karpata was my favourite when I visited in November. I plan to check out all the sites when I relocate to the island in July

Karpata is my favorite dive anywhere. But I haven't dived Candyland yet, its at the top of my list for next trip.

Wow, this is a tough one! How does one choose a "favorite" dive from among so many great ones??

I will say that I miss diving the area just adjacent/south of the BOPEC gas storage tanks. The last few times I went, that area was off-limits, which was a bummer because the diving there was fantastic with a very easy entry/exit at the boat launch.

Another great location is the area around the White Hole (some call it Blue Hole) on the windward side of the island (just outside Lac Bay). Terrific visual contrast to the leeward dive sites! Just watch out for the huge sections of fire coral...stunning to look at, but be careful the surge doesn't give you too close a view! LOL

And pretty much anything along the double reef system is great...how can you not love that??

I love the Lighthouse dive & Red Slave.

However, my best dives ever have been on Jeff Davis, Witches Hut, and Cai.

I really like Rappel, Kalli's Reef, and Ebo's Special.

Drifts from Red Beryl to Margate Bay (south) and from LaDania's Leap to Karpata (north) are very nice dives and a little more adventuresome.

Invisibles... First time there I saw, and photographed, an octopus carrying a conch home. Another time there was the dolphins swimming by underwater and I got that shot. Another time it was several Spotted Eagle Rays and I got that shot. Its been good to me over the years.
