Happy holidaze fellow BT'ers-
OK, I admit it, I'm a terrible American tourist as I don't know how to drive a stick-shift and require an automatic. Sad, I know.

Anyway, aside from AB and Caribe, whom I've contacted & rented from many times, does anyone have any other recommendations for a 2 week car rental in the middle of the summer?

I would appreciate any of their contact info if you do.

Much thanks,
(St.) Neptune Nick :)

Kob - I pinged Avis and Budget.

Struck out with AB, they only had manual.

Caribe has some cars with automatics but doesn't let us use them for diving. Only let you use their trucks, which are manual, for diving so I struck out there.

Note: My wife and I do most of our diving at the place we stay at but also do some around the island but not a lot.

Again, if anyone has other recommendations I would moust appreciate it.

Thanks to all who respond.

Everts has automatic SUVs, not sure what their policy is on using em for diving, but Everts is the best!

The following people seem to have automatic pickup trucks: http://www.bonairerentacar.com/carrental/fleet.html and http://www.islandcarrentalsbonaire.com/economic_car_rentals.html.

Thanks Tom.

I have contacted Island but not Bonaire Rent A Car. Will do.

Not familiar with Everts but will reach out to them as well.

I used Everts for the first time recently and I've gotta say they're my new favourite. Always fast and responsive, vehicles in good condition, and right there at the airport ready to go. Fast in and out.

http://www.evertscarrental.net/ http://www.evertscarrental.com - not sure why they have two sites, but both are legit.

Bonaire Rent a car has one available but not a 4-door unit but believe it can be used for diving. We have used them many times and have always enjoyed their service and have rented again from them for 3-week stay in February.

We've stayed at the Divi for 15 years and when we needed a car they always have automatics for their vehicles.
