Hello Bonaire folks!

I'm considering purchase of a piece of real estate on Bonaire
and am curious to know 'typical' monthly expenses (range of expenses perhaps)
for 2 adults sharing a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom 'apartment', Airco running in
2 bedrooms 8 hours/night?

typical bonaire costs for monthly services?:
$ Electric?
$ Water ?
$ Trash Removal?
$ Internet?
$ Cable TV?
$ other 'typical' monthly expenses I did't think of yet? (propane?)

thanks all!

Anthony

Round numbers ... figure ...
$120+ / mth for electricity for all that airco (you should not need it if you live in a place that faces east-west and gets the wind)
$80 / mth for water
$100 / mth for cable TV & internet
Trash removal is free

Actually trash removal is not free. It's added to your water bill and is $11.20 month.

Didn't know that ... so water bill amount above includes the $11

Cooking gas is cheap, maybe $40 or $50 per year.
Gas for an auto costs about $4.25 a gallon, or $1.06 per liter but there is not much driving to to be done.
Food seems to be priced about the same or slightly higher than in Holland or the US. Fresh produce seems to be more expensive here.
The cost of wine and liquor seems to be is similar to the US and Holland. The beers here are cheaper, but smaller.
