I've always been interested in Waterlands Villas, but have always passed on them due to most rentals having a max $ allowance for electricity, and a surcharge for any overage. Does anyone know whether a $15 per day allowance for water/electric is reasonable for normal use? I define normal use as 2 showers per person each day water, normal use of lights and turning a/c units off when not at the house. Any info is appreciated.

I used to own Divers Paradise and $15 per day is a good allowance. When my son and his family were down at Christmas in my home for two weeks my charges on the water and electricity were about $10 per day, but residential rates for water and electricity are less than commercial rates. Waterlands is a beautiful place and I've heard good things! No matter where you stay, just enjoy Bonaire. It is truly paradise!!

We have stayed at Waterlands Village several times and it is a beautiful
relaxing place. The charge of $15 a day is reasonable for the island
and we never went over the allowance. It is amazing what we see
walking on the canal there.

I've stayed there twice and the $15 electrical allowance has never been an issue
