My boyfriend and I are looking to rent a house or condo on Bonaire for 3 months, beginning in February or March. I don't know if it is more difficult because it is high season, but we are not having much luck so far with the realty companies we have found online.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for finding medium-term rentals?

Ideally we would like a 2 bedroom detached house, but would also be interested in a condo or apartment. We're flexible on start dates and location. Our budget is in the area of $1500 to $2000 per month.

Hopefully we can extend our stay to 6 months, but that will depend upon immigration approval.

Thank you.

Hi Alex -- contact Bob Bartikowski at REMAX Bonaire. He usually has a really good handle on what's available.

Try Bonaire Comfort Rentals. They can help you. Jolanda is excellent
at responding to your emails.

Thanks stretch and kob. Bob provided us with some excellent info regarding immigration and Jolanda found a few options for us. Hopefully one of them will work!

Have you tried Bonaire Exclusief? They have lower rates for longer term rentals.

Playa lechi near the yellow submarine has nice condo's. We found them on VRBO and rented 4 weeks for the price of 3. It was a nice location, walking distance to restaurants etc. We will be there this year the end of Feb. and staying for 3 weeks.
