Hello all,
Returning for 2 weeks on Bonaire, but our house will not be ready the first night. I need a room for 4 adults for 1 night only. Any ideas? We are not picky, just need a place to sleep that first night and do not want to pay a million dollars!
Thanks, Jeff

There are likely many places you could stay for one night. When we had the same situation a few years ago we stayed in the Bonaire Oceanfront Apartments next to the Sun Rentals office. That worked out very well for us. They can be reached at http://www.sunrentalsbonaire.com. Again, there are probably a dozen places or more that could accommodate you but perhaps this will be helpful. The apartments are in town and across the street from the shore in Kralendijk.

Been looking at this myself, for a family of four. Most places are over $200 a night if there are four of you. Very few hotels seem to have regular rooms with two beds.

I booked a room through Priceline which was an opaque "Express" purchase. Since the listing said Casino, I guessed it was the Divi and it was. Price was $174 a night, which isn't great, but isn't bad.

You could also try Priceline Name Your Own Price separately for the two couples and try to keep your bid low.

the Hotel Rochaline is inexpensive, basic, clean, airco, very friendly, in the center of town and a favorite short stay accommodation for the inter-island travelers.

Check out www.infobonaire.com (http://www.infobonaire.com) for a long list of accommodations.
I am sure you will easily find something to fit your needs.

I would have to agree with Petri. My husband stayed at the Hotel Rochaline when he went for a short trip & our place wasn't available. He said he liked it a lot. Nothing fancy, City Cafe at your disposal for eats, great staff, and he said it was the cleanest place he has ever stayed at. Don't bother with the extra cost for oceanview though, he said he could barely see the ocean & it wasn't worth the extra cost.

Scored another Divi Flamingo single night at a good price through a Priceline Express deal. For Feb 2-3, the price was $156 - almost $20 less than at the beginning of our trip. An agent told me all rooms at the Divi can sleep 4.

It is an opaque listing, but you could tell it was the Divi because there was a casino amenity and the Divi is pretty much the only place on island that has a casino.

Already booked it; it is the Divi. I would have been ok with the Plaza, but after the first time, I knew it would be Divi the second time.
