I have watched BWI - BON fares all summer and not liked what I saw (considering that I need to buy three tickets for the family). There were five completely empty rows on the flights even after prices came "down" to $802. so I continued to play the waiting game. But when fares dropped to $691 last week, we jumped on. Can't wait for our fifth trip! Hopefully others can benefit too.

Bill-
Glad to see they came done.

I'm sure that's a first in the history of DELTA (Doesn't Ever Leave The Airport)

I'm thinking of doing the same thing but a little worried about the connection time of 1 hour and 15 minutes in Atlanta and wondering if it'd be better to fly to Atlanta Friday night and Bonaire Saturday. Hmm.
Was the $691 including taxes and fees? I am seeing $684 now before taxes and $784 with taxes.

handben -- that problem about the connection in Atlanta has been hit multiple times on this forum. But suffice it to say, this will be our fourth December in a row and have never had a problem. Unless we get a blizzard in Baltimore on the Friday, things should be OK. Well, don't laugh, we failed to make it home two years ago because of a blizzzard. And, yes, the $692 includes the taxes and fees AND the $35 departure tax from Bonaire. Best price in the four trips. Whoo-hoo!

We have flown out of Atlanta for 17 years and never have had a problem. We used A/A, Air Jamaica, and now Delta. I recommend staying overnight in Atlanta on Friday. It seems to be so much easier and there is no strain on your vacation time.

OK, checking two Delta flights, same date for the ATL-BON leg. One is a round trip Bonaire to Seattle. Was $968 last week but now down to $834. The other is Atlanta to Bonaire, one way, so just one of the four legs of the BON-ATL-SEA SEA-ATL-BON flight. Cost hasn't changed, still $839.

It costs $5 less to go 8,000 miles than it does to go 2,700. And either trip s the same 50,000 miles for an award ticket.

Go figure.

When are you all headed to Bonaire? I'm on the Dec. 31st Delta flight to Bonaire out of ATL.
