Ned and Anna Deloach are a Buddy Dive in September. In addition to guided boat dives they put on seminars two nights weekly. These seminars, accompanied by great slides are invaluable to divers. I've been to many of them and keep going back.

Ned is partners with Humann, the two of them have written the reef identification series of books. Ned is an accomplished naturalist and underwater photographer. You may have seen some of Anna's underwater videos on the National Geographic Chanel.

Get a schedule from BMP or Habitat as to what is supposed happen on each night and when. Dive slow and watch carefully, look for the Brittle Stars comming out and sitting on the coral heads. Look for them doing a dance. Find Sea cucumbers and again look for them getting on the coral to gain heigh. Noon watch out for tube sponges spawning. Don't go deep stay at about 30 feet and watch for eggs coming up in water column and then trace them to whats spawning.

Keep diving the same site so you know what is were. Just look at the other fish life to see what is changing.

When it's Coral Spawning we do a noon dive, 17:00 dive and keep going back in until just before midnight (so we get a last beer at the Deco Stop).

Hope this helps.
