We were just in Bonaire for two weeks from 4/23/2011 Ė 5/7/2011. We stayed again at the Coral Paradise Resort (http://coralparadise.com/). This was our fourth trip to Bonaire and our third stay at Coral Paradise Resort (CPR). We really canít say enough positive things about CPR and can honestly say that we will continue to stay at CPR on future trips to Bonaire and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay that is quiet/clean and very reasonable. Kenny/Margaret & Brenda also have become like family to us and are great hosts and fun to be around. They make the whole process easy and convenient and even helped with arrangements for a surprise birthday dinner/party.

CPR is located next to Captain Donís and the Hamlet Oasis. The rooms are large and have a full kitchen area with oven/stove and refrigerator, dishes/pots/pans, etc. along with a large patio and there is also a very nice pool. They also have Wi-Fi if you need to stay connected and added a new shade area out by the pool where you can be out in the full breeze but also stay out of the sun. The dive package deals are very reasonable and can arrange the dive portion of the package with either Captain Donís or Buddy Dive and the vehicle is with A/B Car Rental (your car will be at CPR when you arrive and you just drop it off at the airport when you leave). We have used Buddy Dive the last two trips as they do not have an additional charge for Nitrox and we think their drive up area to get and drop of tanks and rinse your gear is very convenient and easy where you donít have to lug all of the gear/tanks any distance.

We used the pool each day after diving and enjoyed just relaxing and chatting with Brenda/Kenny/Margaret and the other guests. We also cooked all but 3 meals over the two weeks by grilling on the BBQ and using the oven/stove. Anyone looking to cook their own meals will find this very convenient as you can do that and relax by the pool without having to go out. There is also a market very close by where you can buy a majority of any items you may need during your stay.

We canít wait for our next trip to Bonaire/CPR in 2012! Please donít hesitate to contact us with any questions that you have.

Your review of CPR and the mention of Kenny, Margaret, and Brenda----well, they are the best! And, they seem to attract the nicest folks!!!:D They have worked hard to make it an easy spot for relaxation, diving or snorkeling, guiding you to great spots to eat and enjoy the island. So happy that you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed your "report"----except I'm not there right now! Peace. mellen

...although we have been to Bonaire only once, November 2010. We chose it from positive reports on this site and found it to be just what we wanted. We're staying there again this coming November. What we liked: no-fret combination of accommodations and car rental, can see your car from the front door and the pool from your patio (or your huge covered balcony on the second floor), intimate and friendly yet private because of the way the units are offset, clean and beautiful pool, efficient air-conditioning when we needed it, complete kitchen (although we ate breakfast in, packed a lunch, and ate out all dinners), and good-natured advice from Brenda, Margaret, and Kenny. We are strictly snorkelers, but everyone else there was diving and seemed pleased with their "plan."

Hope you have fun...
