United Airlines Cancelled Flight October 30th 2021

Our Flight October 30th 2021 has been cancelled. Looks like United will not fly to Bonaire now until the weekend of November 6th 2021.

Here is the e-mail we got today from United for our upcoming flights: "Due to persistent changes in our flight operations, your flight xxx on xx/xx/21 for itinerary XXXXXX has been canceled. We know this is unexpected, and unfortunately, we are unable to book you on another United flight at this time. Please visit the United app, united.com or call 1-888-825-7684 to check your options."

We rebooked with American. Hopefully they will hold but more importantly, that Bonaire will be able to welcome us and the situation in our country will enable Bonaire to have us come.

We have rebooked on Delta !!!

United canceled our reservations through Houston on June 5. Words along cannot register our disappointment. We had to cancel our two week trip, because there was no other easy way to get there. All other options took up to 20 hours of travel time from Tucson and were considerably more expensive

Please let us know how it goes for you via CUR. We are considering same....but the covid PCR and additional 2nd tests and the timing limitations on the PCR tests (within 72 hours and 2nd test within 24 hours?) make it extremely difficult.

Timing limitation is doable. The 24 hours test needs to be is prior to departure and the 72 time limit is from the time you take the test it till you land in Bon. US to Cur to Bon should not take more than 48 hrs. Both are offered as a rapid test.

This is very doable. We got back two weeks ago. You get the PCR test in your home town 72 hours in advance. You get a rapid test in Curacao for $20 which takes 15-20 minutes. We arrived on American about 2:15 om and had the Divi flight at 5pm. We arrived in Bonaire and were through the airport by 6pm. For our return flight we did the an at home rapid test with Navica. Its a pain because you are dealing with an Indian call center for 15 minutes but it worked. The whole thing takes longer, but if you need to get back to Bonaire it is the only way. Can wait to return in July on Delta though.
