    Hi,

We have a number of new restaurants, depending on when you were last here. On the food truck scene Dash Kitchen opened about 9 months ago on the main road just north of town and is now an island hangout for great breakfasts and lunches. They are only open on Sat/Sun, 9 am to 2 PM, and serve all homemade food from scratch. Chicken and breakfast biscuits, donuts, salads, quiche, soup, pies, cake - check their reviews on tripadvisor to see more of their menu. Alot of us ex-pats hit them up on Saturday mornings about 9:30 to enjoy the delicious food and catch up with each other. (if you're on the island now, they are on vacation and re-opening Sept 7)

Down in Punt Vierkant below Belnem, there is Ocean Oasis, a new open air beach restaurant and bar. We had a great seafood frittatta there for lunch one day. You can't miss it, just drive south and you'll see it on the right after Delfins and Lighthouse Beach Resort. Right on the ocean, lounge chairs and palm trees in addition to an indoor and outdoor eating area.

A new Indonesian restaurant Tino's, opened downtown, we haven't been yet but hear it's good.

Chefs is a new upscale tasting menu restaurant at Bamboo Bali resort in Hato, reservations only. It has a large U-shaped bar where you sit and watch the Chef's cook and describe the food. The grounds at Bamboo Bali are gorgeous, one of the best gardens on Bonaire. The property has previously only been open to guests staying there, so it's nice to be able to see it while eating there.

    Hope this helps!

    All the best,
