    Default Fresh Conch and Fish

Years back, I seem to remember being able to get fresh conch and fish on Bonaire. We're back on the island in September, and I'd like to prepare conch stew and fresh fish for others in my party. Anyone with suggestions, other than the supermarkets (unless it's fresh stuff)? Thanks.

Karko - conch - is protected on Bonaire- not available.

Stop in at It Rains Fishes. They often have a counter with fresh-caught fish.

There is a lady named Daisy who sells what her boyfriend catches but I don't have her number handy.

I had that feeling. Maybe I can find some imported stuff.

Thank you. I'll look for her, or at It Rains Fishes.

most of the fish at It Rains fishes in imoorted. gouper is also protected and illegal to buy. lots of laces to buy fish - easiest is just to ask any Bonairian at your hotel.

For fresh fish I went to Niki's Fish located on Kaya Dialma. They had a chalkboard along the road. Be early

Thank you. "Early" is good advice.
