    Default Dive gear stolento package

Sad to report that On the night of Friday, Feb. 19th, my dive gear was stolen from the back deck of our rental on Crown Ridge. Everything was lock up as best as it could be, but there gis access via a stairway to the beach. The three other divers in the house had spread their gear haphazardly across chairs and the floor, but being a well trained PADI dive master, I had packed up my stuff in a neat package, which unfortunately had convenient handles.

Gear included: Zeagle Ranger BCD with Octo+
    Zeagle Flathead regulator
    Mares puck computer
    Mares blue fins
    black SeaVision mask
    beanie
    weights 14 lb., I think
slate and cheap folding titanium knife
    smelly boots
Police have been notified. Folks down the street had a bag stolen the same night from the back of their truck as they were unloading their stuff on arrival from the airport.

I'm sorry to hear this. Sadly theft from Crown Ridge continues; we had a break-in in 2010. Since you're renting you should as the business owner for their insurance info, see how that goes

Tried to PM you but looks like you're too new on the site for PMs. All the shops are good but take a look at Bruce Bowker's Carib Inn.

+1 for Bruce Bowker's shop at Carib Inn. He's been on the island since the early 70's and runs a tight ship. Prices are comparable to back in the USA.

Thanks. I bought a mask there once. Remember his ads with the two Dalmatians back in the 90s, too.

I second Bruce Bowkers Carib Inn ( usually the least expensive but good gear) and also Dive Friends retail shop at the Hato traffic circle.
