    Default Salt Pier ?

I was just wondering...while making plans on where I want to dive this trip...does anyone know if there is a schedule of when the ships come into Salt Pier?
    Thanks

When we arrive on the 6th I can see it from my patio so will let you know-------------lots of help on this site right? From what I recall of other questions like yours, there is no real fixed schedule like what one can get on the cruise ship schedule for downtown. From past years visits, take advantage of diving the site right away if nothing around when you arrive, and if one docked it will likely be gone in 2-3 days. It is fun to watch the change in depth of the ship when loading it up, so if you have surface time to burn something to do.

Sorry TJP. I realized that my reply " there's one there now " was useless as soon as I posted.

Might be helpful to email the Harbor Master if anyone knows the address. They might have some idea as to when the ship comes into Salt Pier Not sure if they have a set schedule or not.

I haven't seen a schedule. Depending on how long you are going to be on island, it probably won't matter. On our last trip we were there for two weeks and we only saw a ship at the pier one full day and a partial day. There may have been more, but we did spend quite a bit of time in that area and there were plenty of opportunities to dive the pier. If you're only there for a day, like diving from a cruise ship, then it might be more problematic. Good luck & safe diving.
