    Default A Monkey in Hato!???

Today I saw a monkey sitting on a wall in Hato, eating an apple. I did a double take, triple take and shook my head a few times. Could it be an escaped pet? It was just behind Chez Madeleine.

Stranger things have happened, but still.... a monkey?

That's pretty wild. We had a lose monkey near me a while back, he did not make it through the winter, I suspect this guy should do a little better making it through the Bonaire winter.
And Jerry said, Keep it light, Keep it friendly. Post Like Jerry.

From time to time local pet monkeys make a bid for freedom. They are not that friendly and if you call the police, they generally know the owner. Please be sure to leave them something to eat until their "mom and dads" can collect them..Careful..they bite!!

True! I'm not sure why it posted upside down. Sorry for that.

We saw a monkey with his owner close to that area a month ago. Probably the same
one but has escaped . Sure the police will know the local owner.
