It doesn't seem possible but every trip to Bonaire seems better than the last.

We were so happy when United announced the new 1pm departure time from Houston. Now while we're waiting on the luggage, we can call Pasa Bon and place an order for our favorite sausage pizza.

The high winds limited us to one dive at Spelonk with Bas Tol. But it was fantastic! Don't miss an opportunity to dive the East side with him. http://www.basdiving.com

We also had to (happily) forego some of our favorite southern dive sites that were overrun with nesting terns. Please watch out for these little white and black birds. They simple lay their eggs among the rocks so you might not realize they are actually nesting.

The only other disappointment was that Hagen (of Cactus Blue Truck) was off the island during our entire stay. We missed him and his wonderful food.

In addition to the Pasa Bon and Cactus Blue, we are fans of Wil's Grill, At Sea, Eddy's and Between 2 Buns.

For many years, we have used Dive Friends- mainly the Hamlet and Port locations. We appreciate their friendly staff.

We also made a visit to the Animal Shelter. Please consider making a donation and/or donate items for their weekly porch sale that is held in town.

It seems I have highlighted food more than diving, but the photos will speak to our wonderful 15 days of diving. I will make another post with more photos and have also posted a Garden Eel video under photography/video.

Visibility could have been better, but any day diving in Bonaire is great!
