    Salp or tunicate, same thing as far as I know. About eight years ago there was an amazing bloom of the things. I was happy to find the single one in the pic. Within three days there were so many that diving was problematic; it was like diving in salp soup. With in another two days they were all dead and gone. I have yet to see another while in Bonaire.

    April of 2007 was the timing of the salp explosion.
