    Default cell phone numbers

Hi. we just returned to Bonaire and we have found out that the cell phone service has changed - to call some numbers you need to add 00-599 or 00-5999 in front of the number. Do callers from land lines need to add these to the cell phone number? is there any rule to make these changes easier?? thanks for any help.

that is very odd, i still just dial the local numbers on my cell. I have digicel service, it may vary per service. Remember though that now Curacao is considered another country.

it has nothing to do with the service .. some people have curacao numbers which require you to dial with the prefix

thanks. there are numbers we used to be able to dial and now they don't work. When i went to digicel they said i needed to add the other numbers. Do you know if the Chippie cell phone numbers are Curacao numbers?
