    Default Monday waiting on Sandy...

Good Morning all... well it's a waiting game now and not one I'm fond of..wishing you all safety...every school here is closed till Wednesday..Andrea's still in bed, sooo thankful she doesn't have to drive to her morning job which is like 45 min away...hoping her afternoon job cancel also, but that's super close, so not a big deal....I have to work, hopefully we'll leave early and close for tomorrow.... praying everyone is safe!!

    There's some fungus among us..

♥ and hugs from Donna (in the Poconos!)

GM Donna and all that follow.
School are close here too. The sound of the wind woke me up this morning and the storm is still far away . The worst for this area is tonight . Jerry's buterfly bush is actually bending in half by the wind.
Wish i could stay in ,but I have 3 different appointment today with test and ****. Don't like driving in this crap.
I hope everyone is safe and do not have damage on their home from this

-John was a salesman's delight when it came to any kind of unusual
    > gimmicks. His wife Marsha had long ago given up trying to get him to
    > change..
    >
    > One day John came home with another one of his unusual purchases. It was
    > a robot that John claimed was actually a lie detector. It was about 5:30
    > that afternoon when Tommy, their 11 year old son, returned home from
    > school. Tommy was over 2 hours late. "Where have you been? Why are you
    > over 2 hours late getting home?" asked John.
    >
    > "Several of us went to the library to work on an extra credit project,"
    > said Tommy. The robot walked around the table and slapped Tommy,
    > knocking him completely out of his chair.
    >
    > "Son," said John, "this robot is a lie detector, now tell us where you
    > really were after school." "We went to Bobby's house and watched a
    > movie." said Tommy.
    >
    > "What did you watch?" asked Marsha. "The Ten Commandments." answered
    > Tommy. The robot went around to Tommy and once again slapped him,
    > knocking him off his chair.
    >
    > With his lip quivering, Tommy got up, sat down and said, "I am sorry I
    > lied. We really watched a tape called Sex Queen."
    >
    > "I am ashamed of you son," said John. "When I was your age, I never lied
    > to my parents."
    >
    > The robot walked around to John and delivered a whack that nearly
    > knocked him out of his chair..
    >
    > Marsha doubled over in laughter, almost in tears and said, "Boy, did you
    > ever ask for that one! You can't be too mad with Tommy. After all, he is
    > your son!"
    >
    > The robot walked around to Marsha and knocked her out of her chair.

Good Morning, Donna, Louise, kob and all who follow!
There certainly is a fungus among us and it's name is Sandy!
Thanks for the chuckle, Louise! I think I could use it this AM with the storm at our doorstep. Glad we don't have a robot like that in our house.

Good morning all, excellent shot Donna and excellent joke Louise. As bad as this is, it's still better than what we got this time last year. Same storm except it was snow, nothing like a week without electricity. Here's the coast now.

High tide is at noon and midnight, that will be the worse.

    Good Morning, EveryBuddy!!

Nice picture, Donna. Great joke, Louise. I got lucky this morning!!! NO!! Not that way!!! Took the girls out and it was NOT raining!!! Had to tie a scarf around Holle's head, tho.........She started to gain altitude in a wind gust!!

Freddie - you might see if Princet will loan you a couple of anchors, to keep Mia from drifting away!!

Kob, are you 'down south' now??? That would be the place to be until this week is over!!!

Morning, Nick!! Nope, don't want that robot here either!!!

Be SAFE, stay as dry as you can!!!
