Default Looking for a cosy, quiet, small size B&B for end Sept.

    Hi,

Coming from Belgium, my wife and I will arrive in Bonaire on Sept. 27th. We're looking for a cosy and quiet B&B (lodge, appt, studio or sth. lookalike , 1 bedroom) in the moderate price class (below 100$ pn), preferably outside the Kralendijk city area and the hottest tourist zones.
We plan to stay for 4 or 5 nights, depending on the flight schemes to our next destination.
    Internet access will be useful.

It may be close to the beach, but we can enjoy the peace of nature as much, so beach view is not a must.
We don't visit Bonaire for diving.

Tips are appreciated : preferably website and/or e-mail ; if not, phone number.

    Thank you.
    Anja & Willy

Without a doubt the best small dive facility on the island is the Carib Inn. Bruce and his staff provide top notch service. the 10 room hotel is very quaint and waterfront. You can walk to town. The house reef is one of the best on the island. Small dive boats insure that you have a great dive experience. I have been there at least 10 times and would not stay anywhere else.

I seriously think you should give Bonaire Beachcomber Villas a look (www.bonairebeachcombervillas.com and/or www.vrbo.com/350432). We stayed there in June/July and it was terrific. I can't say enough about the apartments (suites) or the owners. Both are sensational! They are on the water in Hato, quiet, beautiful views and very moderately priced. In fact, they're running a special in October. Unusual since they're normally booked. Please look at the reviews on VRBO and their website. They will tell you all you need to know and why you should at least contact them. If in doubt, give me a PM and I'll gladly fill you in! I'd give you a moneyback guarantee, but I'm in Panama and it's hard to get $$ from here to Belgium!

    Default Hotel Roomer

Check out Hotel Roomer as well. Excellent restaurant.

Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, cigar in one hand, beer in the other, body used up, totally worn-out and screaming, "WOO HOO, what a ride!"
