It will be of interest to learn more about the suspects and the circumstances. Congratulations to the Bonaire Police for bringing the investigation to this point.
"The guys that are today shooting on the streets didn`t got into the crime now. They started breaking truck windows at dive sites. And people (and police) didn`t care. Cause and result."
It's as simple as that. But simple as it may be, that development takes years.
Anyone noticed that "the justice system" changed slightly as per 10-10-10?
Statements (whether blanket or not) such as "I hope the everybody-is-related Bonairian "justice" system does not prevail" and "Calling out law enforcements unwillingness to go after locals does not in any way convey an opinion about the majority of locals, oddly enough" are not entirely spot on.

It will be interesting to see the final verdict and punishment if guilty .
A strong message should be sent .
I believe in a loving Creator and believe He has given us the miraculous seas as a sacred trust. Those of us who dive should honor that trust by taking care of this extraordinary place. Take the time to tell people your dive experiences. Not only will they appreciate your stories, but it may encourage them to see the water world as real and worth preserving
