    Default New favorite dessert

    Poffertjes!
We've gotten addicted to those things. Been eating something different at the vendors each night, but always get an order of poffertjes.

OK -- I'll ask. What are poffertjes? Where do you buy them? Are they really better than key lime pie?

The couple that has the sailing charter boat Compass has a booth and are cooking these. Mini Dutch pancakes with powdered sugar and syrup.

I hope they are there in February! Sounds both delicious and fattening...

Yes indeed, a traditional Dutch treat....... not of the lo-cal variety tho ; have eaten them in Holland, and are truly delish - perfect after a busy day of diving!

Sounds good, but I'll stick with quesillo or key lime pie.

Ask Judy Schmidt for one of her pumpkin bars and you will never go back to any other desert!!! (Of course Wils and Chocolate Fondue at Bistro, excluded).
