I found this in a newspaper many many years ago and it has been a family favorite since. The original receipe called for 6 5 cent hersey bars.

1/2 pound hersey milk chocolate bars
    1/2 cup of milk
    1 pint whipping cream
    16 large marshmellows
1 cup plus or minus granulated sugar (to taste)
1 regular pie shell 8 or 9 inches

put candy bars, marshmellows and milk in a double boiler and melt together until all lumps are gone. Whip 1 cup of the whipping cream. Cool chocolate to room temperature and fold in the unsweetened whipped cream. Put in pie shell and refrigerate. Whip remaining 1 cup of cream and sweeten with sugar to taste. Put on top of chocolate.

This is very rich so go easy on the serving size.

Default Corney Ann - I made this last

Corney Ann - I made this last night for a birthday celebration today - OUTSTANDING! Have been asked for the recipe from multiple people. Next time though I don't know if I will keep with my mistake and buy Hershey's with Almonds again or go for the "original" way.

Actually the original had almonds in it but I had an aunt that was alergic to nuts so I eliminated them. Glad you enjoyed it.
