    {Chip will you please post the recipe here, bill is probably in his cups, and I do not mean athletic supporter!!!} Need the recipe as I heard that there is an ice cream maker in the almost near future!!

    OMG! No email, nothing! OY Here it is late, late, late! SORRY!

    12 oz butter (1 1/2 sticks)
    2 cups of pecan halves (smashed to choice of size)
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    2 large eggs
    3/4 cup sugar
    2 cups heavy cream or whipping cream
    1 cup whole milk

    Saute pecans in melted butter and salt - over medium heat in deep skillet. Seperate butter from pecans and set both to cool to room temp.

    Whisk eggs til light and fluffy, whisk sugar into egg mixture. Whisk cream, milk, and melted butter into sugar/egg mixture. Follow instructions for your ice cream maker. Add the pecans just before the ice cream is solid.
