View Full Version : Sealife DC1400 ...Any do's and don'ts for a new user?

Hello,
I am new to picture taking and just got a sealife dc1400- pink of course and I am open to any suggestions to get the most of my camera. I will appreciate any suggestions....Thanks Juju :bk:

Juju my first recommendation is the same as getting to Carnegie Hall, practice, practice, practice. Bugs and flowers are your friends right now, small close subjects are what you want.

Now once you are underwater, get close, then closer and use the flash, no flash pictures will most always disappoint. Bracket everything especially distance.

I had problems getting good pictures with my DC1400 until I went to see John at Buddy Dive. If you are using the Strobe, set the ISO at 100 and the EV at -.07 Also, use the macro flash setting when you get real close.

Sorry - the EV should be set at a negative 0.7
