After five years I finally went back to Bonaire. Wonderful in so many ways.

This time a took both stills and video. The video will take a lot of editing before I can show you, but I have some pictures right now. As before most of them are taken at the house reef at Buddy.

This is the second time (in over 100 dives at Bonaire) I see a fish like the yellow one. Am I blind or are they rare? A coney?

Do they work in Black and White? I like them, but what do you think?

And the last set.

I think it is hard to find new motives, new angles or a new way to show something that I have seen so many times and taken so many pictures of. I never have deleted so many pictures as I did this trip. But I like the ones I have uploaded here. Hope you do to.

Thanks for bumping - I missed this post.

The pictures are unbelievable.
How do you get so close to your objects? When I dive, all fish are moving :-(.
You actually make close-ups of fish that swallow other creatures.

Saying I "like" your photos are an understatement - they are the best! What camera are you using, and can you give us a few tips on getting clear & up-close photos? Your pictures put a big smile on our faces tonight & made me remember how many, many little critters are under the sea, that we can't wait to see!:)
