Hi Dianna,

Please make sure your pics conform to the following limits.....

Profile Pic - Max 100x100 pixels or 64Kb

Avatar pic - Max 80x80 pixels or 19.5Kb

Signature Pic - Max 500x100 pixels or 9.8Kb

If you are above theses limits the picture will not show up, unlike the pictures that you attach or link to in your posts which are resized automatically.

MfG

Roy

I can't post my album pictures. Aren't the suppose to resize themselves when you up load them or do you still have to resize them?? What size if you need to do it????? Thanks in advance!!!!!!

If you are inserting images from another site using properties and cut and paste on the URL then no you don't need to resize them Darlene

Since you have your photo's on FB already - you can right click on the photo - click on properties - copy then OK and paste the URL in the little icon that has the mountain and sun. Give it a try. :)

My boy Bob... fingers crossed that we don't have a trip to the vet tomorrow :(

If you have uploaded an image as an attachment, you can click the arrow next to the 'Attachment Icon' and select it from the list. This will be inserted into your post and can be located where you want it displayed.

Thank you Tara, a very good explaination

egads I think I'm falling in love with a fellow geek  ;)

Dianna, yes you can have both, actually you can have all three!!

An Avatar is the picture to the left of your User name in your posts

Your Profile pic is the one people see when they click on your User name.

Your Signature pic is the one that appears at the bottom of your posts

DEBBIE, the limits for Album pics are 97.7Kb & 600x600 pixels

when you are at the Upload pictures page scroll to the bottom of the window and you will see info on how many pics you can still upload and also this recommendation -

Pictures will be automatically resized to fit within these constraints if possible. However, you may receive better results by doing it manually.

if you click on the thumbnail the picture will be shown full size in a new window

which personally I think will be a great way for showing lots of pics in trip reports.

if you only have a couple of pics, then it is best to post them to one of your personal albums (see your User CP), then from that album you can get the BBcode/url to paste into the Insert Image window that appears when you click on its Icon (the Yellow square with mountain & sun). That will then make the picture appear full size in your post.

Think I got it.

On bonairewebcams I ....
1. double click the image.
2. right click image
3. left click properties
4. highlight URL in the display box
5. left click and select copy
6. go to reply message box
7. type message
8. left click yellow mountain symbol for "Insert Image"
9. right click paste in the URL box
10. left click OK
11. submit post

Now to try that again with a different image
