Who has closed

Have now cancelled our fifth attempt to come back to Bonaire this season. So I’m wondering which businesses and in particular which restaurants have closed for business. Many have shut permanently here in Ct and I am afraid for my favorites in Bonaire. Thanks.

Italy in the World has closed permanently. Zazu (at Harbour Village Marina, they did burger nights on Wednesday) closed permanently some time ago. I'll update this if I see more. Most restaurants are hanging in there with either reduced hours of operation or smaller menus.

We are sorry to see any Bonaire closures, but Italy in the World does sting. It was one of our goto places.

Cristina at Italy in the World says she plans to reopen, but in a new location, once Bonaire is fully open again.

Did they close Bistro de Paris too or just the bar? Burger nights were always nice there.

Bistro de Paris closed in February.

Bistro de Paris and Zazu closed permanently prior to Covid. I heard third hand that Harbour Village did not extend the lease as it intended to use the space as part of its in house catering. While they were clearing out their equipment, I asked the proprietor/chef if he intended to re-open elsewhere. He said they were pursuing other goals so not anytime soon, if at all.

They were still open as of the last Taste of Bonaire on August 1. Maybe someone has been by more recently.

If we can wrangle the right COVID tests, we may be coming to Bonaire for two weeks in October. A few questions about restaurants. Wondering if any of our favorites closed. Can anyone update me on the following places?
