I'm not sure how up to date this is in terms of locations and names of Snacks on Bonaire, but it at least is a great primer on what defines a Snack (if you search the forum for Snacks, I found this in a 2017 posting)

Maybe not technically a snack - not sure what qualifies, but we really like Antriol Catering Company and always make sure to head there when on the island.

Hi everybody.. We love Julians and go there once a week when on Bonaire. The owner is really impressive.

    Hello,
A few years ago, we found Julians in town, across from Karels and it was delicious.
They have a set menu(approx 7 items),all comes with rice or fries, soda and dessert all for $15.00. We have been going there for years....very yummy. This year, they raised it to $17.00. Check out their menu on TripAdvisor travelers pictures. You will not be disappointed.

It's not a "snack" but the Chinese restaurant adjacent to the Chinese market just down from Buddy's and Capt. Don's is good -- very affordable compared to many of the high priced restaurants.

of course they are for meals but for the locals an inexpensive "watering hole" and generally carry outs. some also serve daily specials from our local krioyo kitchens. The portions are usually large and inexpensive. To miss a Bonaire Snack is missing a true local experience. Some are very informal all the way to somewhat formal. It's up to you - stop in and see for yourself -the choice is up to you and there are only about 25 to choose from on Kaya Korona alone.

    "Snack Bars"

Any opinions on those (mostly) Chinese snack bars for a meal? We've been to Bonaire many times and have never stopped at one. Are there any that come more recommended than others? Are they primarily just Chinese food or do they serve other foods? Any suggestions or thoughts on these is appreciated! We'll be on our happy place this weekend for 2 weeks!
